3 months later, we suddenly received his email reply.

With reference to hoist crane. we are looking for 1 ton chain type crane with U type track. At the present time we are using 0.5ton hoist crane. it is looking like very old model type
Can you provide us full solution with U track for my existing Plant?

The customer was worried that the hoist could not run on his existing U type travelling track, and sent us the drawings of the track to confirm whether it could run. At the same time, he asked to increase the lifting speed of the hoist. The lifting speed of the hoist his team using is 7m/min. The new electric hoist lifting speed should reach 8-10m/min, the solution needs to be redesigned.

We redesigned the electric chain hoist solution, but for the next two months, the client disappeared again. Finally, we learned that he had resigned. A new maintenance engineer took his place and took over the project.

After re-quoting, the engineer asked how the installation and commissioning would proceed. In view of this issue, it is very necessary to give all a detailed explanation.

Due to COVID-19, the labor cost for our engineers to go overseas for installation and commissioning is very high. It will take a long time for an engineer to go from the factory to the completion of the project and return to China. Due to the strict domestic epidemic prevention and control, after returning to China, all engineers need to be quarantined for 21 days. All expenses during this period belong to the installation link. In addition, the price of air tickets to return to mainland China from overseas is also very high.

So, currently our installation service consists of two forms:

• If customers have the ability to install by themselves, we provide installation manuals, installation videos and remote video installation instructions to assist customers in completing installation and commissioning.
• In some markets, we have a local installation team. The local installation team intervenes to complete the installation, which can also solve the customer's installation problems.

After the customer's engineer understood clearly, no other questions were raised, and the solution we provided also passed the customer's team review. The customer's procurement department began to intervene and the project entered the procurement link. The purchase request quotation should be updated to the CIF price, and at the same time, we had a deep communication about the payment method, the warranty time and how to ensure the supply of spare parts outside the warranty. The order was also successfully completed.
